Most students attend their neighborhood school (school of residence), and build friendships and community there. Some students have reasons to request another school. Open Enrollment, from Oct. 1 - Nov. 16, 2018 is the time to make that request for the 2019-20 school year. Open Enrollment is also known as an "intra-district" transfer.
Applications must be completed online, and will be available from October 1 at 8:00 am through November 16 at 5:00 pm. The online application will not be available on the website until October 1st. Families who need assistance can come to the S.A.F.E. office at 211 Ridgway Avenue. Not everyone who applies to attend another school will receive their first choice. School capacities may restrict availability.
