Most students attend their neighborhood school (school of residence), and build friendships and community there. Some students have reasons to request another school. Open Enrollment, from Oct. 1 - Nov. 15, 2019 is the time to make that request for the 2020-21 school year. Open Enrollment is also known as an "intra-district" transfer.
The online application will not be available on this website until October 1st. Families who need assistance can come to the S.A.F.E. office at 211 Ridgway Avenue. Not everyone who applies to attend another school will receive their first choice. School capacities may restrict availability.
On October 1, 2019, you'll find the link to the application on the Transfers web page. Not sure of your school of residence? Use the School Locator.
