State Supt. Thurmond meets with local superintendents
On November 8, 2019, State Superintendent of Schools Tony Thurmond met with superintendents from Sonoma County, including Dr. Diann Kitamura, to discuss the recent disasters. They talked about the 2017 Tubbs Fire, 2018 air quality events and floods, and the 2019 Kincade Fire and evacuations, as well as what other things would help in the mission of educating California’s children.
