Adaptable Virtual Independent Study Academy

a Santa Rosa City Schools Program, offered at every high school

 The AVISPA is available to all Santa Rosa students in grades 7-12. Students participating in this program have the opportunity to participate in athletics, school events, and can take up to two classes in-person at their home school. AVISPA is a flexible educational option that can adapt to be fully virtual or have weekly in-person one on one meetings with their teacher, as well as have access to their teachers through daily office hours. 

This flexible option can benefit students who have outside commitments, struggle with social anxiety, or are experiencing significant life events.

And because it’s part of our district, families know they’re still getting the same high-quality education as every other SRCS student.
