Work-based learning links learning in the workplace to learning in the classroom, engages students and promotes exposure and access to future educational and career opportunities.
SRCS has partnered with Social Advocates for Youth’s (SAY) College and Career Readiness team to coordinate and facilitate work-based learning opportunities for all students in all high schools across the district.
Work-Based Learning Coordinators collaborate with College and Career Counselors to engage students in career awareness, exploration, and preparedness activities.
