Career Technical Education (CTE) programs consist of a multi-year sequence of CTE courses that are designed to offer students an opportunity to explore careers, participate in work-based learning experiences, acquire technical and employability skills, and be prepared for a full range of post-secondary opportunities. Several CTE courses are college-preparatory and/or are articulated with the local community college, where students can earn college units through the Credit by Exam process. In addition, some CTE Programs provide students the opportunity to earn industry-recognized certifications and college credit.
