Omé moved to Santa Rosa in 2015 and attended Proctor Terrace Elementary and Santa Rosa Middle School. He is currently a rising senior at Santa Rosa High School where he is the President of the Youth Activism Club, a member of the Latinx Student Congress, the Black Students Union, Latinos Unidos, the Environmental Justice Council, and is a Youth Promotor Verde for Latino Services Providers. Omé is proud to be bilingual and bicultural and the son of a Mexican immigrant. He is also a member of the Varsity Cross Country and Track teams at Santa Rosa High School.

Omé spends his summers as a Camp Counselor at LandPaths, introducing youth to Sonoma County's wild spaces and teaching environmental stewardship. Omé enjoys being outside, working on his truck, playing video games, and running as fast he can through Sonoma County's trails. After high school, Omé hopes to attend a four-year university on the opposite coast and to discover new areas to explore.
