The Santa Rosa City Schools Board of Education has seven elected members, also known as "Directors." They set a direction for the district, provide a structure by establishing policies, ensure accountability and provide community leadership on behalf of the district and public education.
School Board Meetings
The Board of Education usually meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, with some exceptions for holidays. Meetings are usually held in City Hall, 100 Santa Rosa Avenue, at 6:00pm. Beginning March 12, 2020 until further notice, due to orders to shelter in place, the Board of Education will conduct video conference meetings.
