    This year's Lottery Draw will take place on March 8th and is open to the public. Times and location to follow.

    The charter school lottery application window for the 2023-24 school year is OPEN!

    The lottery application forms for each school site will be opened by 8:00am Monday, January 9


    Applications will be accepted from     January 9 - February 20, 2023. Our lottery for charter schools will be held on March 8 and is open to the public. School sites will contact families to let them know if they are holding a spot for their student or if they will be placed on a waiting list.

    8:30am -   SR Accelerated Charter School
    9:00am -   SR Charter School for the Arts
    9:45am -   SR French American Charter School
    10:30am - Cesar Chavez Language Academy


    What do I need to do to apply to a charter school?


    Complete     the Charter School Lottery Application for the school of your choice:

    If you live within our school district, you must be registered in your SRCS school of residence for the next school year (2023-24) before the lottery. You can find out by typing your address in the School Locator.


    Do you live within the Santa Rosa City Schools district boundaries?  If yes, you will follow steps 1 or 2.


    1. Does the student who is applying for the lottery currently attend a Santa Rosa City Schools school? If yes, no further action.


    2. If the student who is applying for the lottery currently does     not attend a Santa Rosa City Schools school, you will need to pre-enroll your child at their school of residence while you wait for the lottery results. Please go to srcschools.org/register to complete the online registration for the next school year.

    •  This is a required step to be considered for the charter school lottery
    • Select the 2023 - 2024, Pre-Enrollment school year
    • Select your student’s current (2022-2023) grade level on a later page in the grade level field


    If you do NOT live within our school district,     you will be contacted to register if your student is chosen to attend the charter school during the lottery.

  • ¡La ventana de solicitud de lotería de la escuela autónoma para el año escolar 2023-24 está ABIERTA!

    Se abrirán los enlaces a las solicitudes para participar en la lotería de las escuelas chárter el lunes 9 de enero a las 8:00 am.


    Las solicitudes se aceptarán del 9     de enero al 20 de febrero de 2023. La lotería para las escuelas chárter se llevará a cabo el 8 de marzo y este evento está abierto al público. Las escuelas se comunicarán con las familias para informarles si tienen un lugar para su estudiante o si serán colocados en una lista de espera

    ¿Qué debo hacer para aplicar a una escuela chárter? 

    Complete la solicitud de lotería de la escuela chárter para la escuela de su elección:

     

    Si vive dentro de nuestro distrito escolar, debe estar registrado en su escuela de residencia de SRCS para el próximo año escolar (2023-24) antes de la lotería. Puede averiguarlo escribiendo su dirección en el Localizador de escuelas .

    ¿Vive dentro de los límites del distrito de las Escuelas de la Ciudad de Santa Rosa? En caso afirmativo, seguirá el paso 1 o 2.

    1. ¿El estudiante que solicita la lotería asiste actualmente a una escuela de las Escuelas de la Ciudad de Santa Rosa? Si es así, no hay más acción.
    2. Si el estudiante que está solicitando la lotería actualmente no asiste a una escuela de las Escuelas de la Ciudad de Santa Rosa, deberá preinscribir a su hijo en su escuela de residencia mientras espera los resultados de la lotería. Vaya a srcschools.org/register para completar el registro en línea para el próximo año escolar.
      • Este es un paso requerido para ser considerado para la lotería de la escuela chárter
      • Seleccione el año escolar 2023 - 2022, Preinscripción
      • Seleccione el nivel de grado actual de su estudiante (2022-2023) en una página posterior en el campo de nivel de grado

    Si NO vive dentro de nuestro distrito escolar, lo contactaremos para que se registre si su estudiante es elegido para asistir a la escuela chárter durante la lotería.
