Open Enrollment Intradistrict Transfer
If your student lives within the Santa Rosa City Schools district and wants to attend a school other than their school of residence for the 26-27 school year, you must apply for an Open Enrollment Intradistrict Transfer. Parents are responsible for providing transportation for a student on an intra-district transfer.
Applications will be considered based on school capacity and are prioritized by reason. This is not a first-come, first-served process. Applications received after November 15 will be denied. The priority list on the application includes a reference to priority Elsie Allen High School neighborhoods, which has been modified by recent Board action.
The application window is open from October 1 through November 15.

Interdistrict Transfer
Students who live outside the boundaries of Santa Rosa City School District can apply to attend one of our schools with an Interdistrict Transfer. SRCS policies specify the terms and conditions for allowing transfers from families who live outside our district. Parents can request a particular school, but SRCS makes the final determination based on capacity, student attendance, GPA, and behavior. Parents are responsible for providing transportation for a student on an inter-district transfer. If either district denies a transfer request, that decision may be appealed to the Sonoma County Board of Education.
The application window will be open from February 1 through March 15.
