If your student lives within the Santa Rosa City Schools district boundaries and wants to attend a Santa Rosa City school other than their school of residence, you must apply for Open Enrollment Intradistrict Transfer.
Open Enrollment Intradistrict Transfer Application
Open Enrollment Intradistrict Transfers are done during the application window each fall and, if approved, take effect for the following school year.
The Open Enrollment Intradistrict Transfer application window is now OPEN.
Applications will be considered based on program and school capacity. This is not a first-come, first-served process, but it is important to submit your application before the window closes on November 15.
To Apply:
- Click on the link below to fill in the online application.
- If your child receives IEP services or has a 504 plan, please upload a copy of the most recent plan and attach it to your application.
- You may identify a first and second choice of school. We will make every attempt to place your student at one of your choices based on school capacity.
- If your application is incomplete, it will be returned to you for more information.
- All incomplete applications will be closed on November 15.
- If you have more than one child, you must fill out a separate application for each child.
Open Enrollment Intradistrict Transfer Application
You will be notified of the status of your application after the window closes. If your application is approved, you will have 10 school days to complete registration process at the new school. Incomplete registration will result in a rejection of your application.
