Career Technical Education
Career Technical Education (CTE) provides students the opportunity to explore their interests while preparing for college, careers, and beyond. Through a sequence of hands-on courses, students build real-world knowledge, develop technical and professional skills, and participate in meaningful work-based learning experiences.
Many CTE courses also meet college entrance requirements and offer opportunities to earn college credit through local community college partnerships. Students may also earn industry-recognized certifications that strengthen their resumes and prepare them for future success. Whether students are interested in business, healthcare, engineering, culinary and hospitality, or agriculture, CTE pathways provide engaging learning experiences that help turn interests into opportunities.
