The Santa Rosa City School district has developed a comprehensive COVID-19 Safety Plan for reopening grades KA-6.
The safety plan includes:

On January 25, 2021, SRCS submitted the CSP for review to the Sonoma County Office of Education to deliver to Sonoma County Public Health, and the Safe Schools for All Team as part of the California Department of Public Health.
The CSP requires meeting and confering with unions for teachers and classified staff. The Governor's Safe Schools for All Plan requires districts negotiate a return to in-person instruction with unions. SRCS has been meeting these requirements by negotiating Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with the teachers (SRTA) and classified (CSEA) unions:- Negotiated MOU CSEA
