    News and information about our district and schools is now as close as your smartphone, with the new SRCSchools mobile app.

    The app gives students, staff, families, and the community a new and more convenient way to stay informed about what's happening in our schools.

    The SRCSchools app gives you access to news, district and school calendars, emergency notifications, staff contact information, and more. You can customize the app so you receive information specific to your student’s school. The app can also be easily translated into Spanish and dozens of other languages.

     

    Our mobile app is available free for Android, iPhone, and iPad. Download it now by searching "Santa Rosa City Schools" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

  • How to Install the SRCSchools mobile app on an iPhone or iPad

    Note: Before downloading the app, you will need a free Apple account.

    Log into your Apple account
    Open the Apple App Store
    Search for “Santa Rosa City Schools”
    Select the SRCSchools app
    Hit the "Free" button or cloud icon
    When the download is complete, hit "Open”
    Open the app and begin customization

  • How to Install the SRCSchools mobile app on an Android Device

    Note: Before downloading the app, you will need a free Google account.

    Log into your Google account
    Open the Google Play Store app
    Search for “Santa Rosa City Schools”
    Select the SRCSchools app
    Hit “install"
    Accept the terms and conditions
    When the download is complete, return to the home screen
    Locate the app called “SRCSchools” 
    Open the app and begin customization

  • How to customize the SRCSchools mobile app

    Note: Download the app before customizing it. 

    Find and open the SRCSchools app
    Swipe the left and select the “Settings” icon
    Choose “Follow Schools”
    Select the school(s) you wish to follow
    Tap the check boxes to select whether you’d like to receive notifications, news and/or calendar information for that school (All options may not be available for every school.)

    To save a calendar event to your personal calendar:
    Select the "Calendar" icon
    Select the event
    Scroll down and select "Add to device calendar"
    Make sure the app has permission to access your calendar
    Select done

    To change the language of the app:
    Select the “Settings” icon setting again
    Hit “Select language”
    Choose the desired language. The app should automatically reset
    Note: You may need to go back and choose which schools you want to follow again.
    Your app is now customized with information from the schools you selected.
